We are living through a historic period as we all experience a worldwide pandemic. On Friday the 20th of March our country went into lockdown to protect us from Coronavirus, schools had to close and children had to stay learning from home.
We worked hard and most of all we came together as a community. While the lockdown kept children at home, the learning continued- children took part in everything from problem solving and imaginative play to art and other creative activities with their families. Let us mark this happening in a creative way that can serve as a historical record.
Rainbows became a symbol that there is hope and light to follow after every storm. At home, our children were busy making their own rainbows to display in their windows.
