At Rampton Primary School, we use Kapow to support our delivery of our curriculum. The humanities curriculum covers History and Geography, and is carefully designed to inspire curiosity about the world and develop children's understanding of people, places, and events over time. We follow comprehensive long-term plans, which outline the key themes and content covered across each year group. In addition, we use the Disciplinary Knowledge Progression documents (found on this page) to ensure pupils build a strong foundation of subject-specific skills, such as historical enquiry and geographical fieldwork, in a coherent and progressive way. Together, these documents support high-quality teaching and learning, helping children to think critically, make connections, and understand the world around them.
