Ofsted Reports
We are delighted to provide our latest OFSTED Report here:
OFSTED Report 1st February 2022
The report highlights the hard work and dedication of the staff and governors at the school as well as the behaviour and enthusiasm of our pupils.
As quoted in the inspection report, our pupils are happy and feel safe!
"Parents and staff agree that children are happy and safe at Rampton Primary School."
To witness and feel compelled to describe the playground as displaying 'an air of joy' really did mean the world to us.
"At breaktimes, the inspector described an air of joy on the playground."
The inspectors also stated that they saw both younger and older playing nicely together. We really do value the fact that our school feels like a big family where every member of staff knows every child and all the children know each other.
We are proud of the fact that our SEND provision has been praised. We care about the development of the whole child and are passionate about breaking down any barriers to learning.
"The school’s provision for pupils with special educational needs and/or disabilities (SEND) is strong and inclusive. Staff carefully adapt the curriculum to pupils’ needs. Positive relationships between pupils and staff enable pupils with SEND to flourish. Vulnerable pupils are helped to feel welcome and to thrive."
Our new phonics scheme is working superbly well and our children are thriving. This is despite Covid-19 having such an impact on the development of our pupils.
"...the children in the Reception Year are thriving."
In our last inspection in 2016, mathematics was seen as an area for development. It is fabulous therefore, to show that we have taken on the recommendations of the previous inspection team and sought to improve our provision. It was wonderful that the inspectors commented that mathematics is a strength in the school now.
"Mathematics provision is strong."
